Link to post Share on other sites. Every cruise line has their own policy but in general most companies prohibit the same items. Irons are one of RCIs prohibited items.

Royal Caribbean does not have self-sevice laundry rooms but they do have a laundry and dry cleaning service. Folding clothes can create creases and cruise cabins are not equipped with irons although they can be found in the ships laundry rooms. Pretty much anything that heats up is prohibited with the exception of hair irons and such.
